Directions to the Music Box Theatre

From South:

Take 35W north to the Downtown 11th Street exit. Turn left on 2nd Ave. S.  Turn left on Nicollet Ave. The Music Box Theatre is 1-1/2 blocks south on Nicollet.

From East:

Take 94 West. Take the 11th Street exit. Turn left on 2nd Ave. S.  Turn left on Nicollet Ave. The Music Box Theatre is 1.5 blocks south on Nicollet Ave.

From North East:

Please note that 35W is closed between Stinson Blvd
and I94. Here's the simplest alternate route:

Take 35W to 280 South. Merge onto 94 West. Take the 11th Street exit. Turn left on 2nd Ave. S. Turn left on Nicollet Ave. The Music Box Theatre is 1-1/2 blocks south on Nicollet Ave.

From North West:

Take 94 East to 4th Street Exit. Follow 4th Street to 2nd Ave. S. Turn right on 2nd Ave. Turn left of Nicollet Ave. The Music Box Theatre is 1-1/2 blocks south on Nicollet Ave.

From West:

Take 394 East to 12th Street Exit in Downtown MInneapolis. Turn right on LaSalle Ave. Turn left on 14th Street. Go one block to Nicollet.

Light Rail

Take the train downtown, get off at the Nicollet Mall Station (Nicollet Mall & 5th St.). From there pick up either #17 or #18 bus headed south on Nicollet to the Music Box Theatre (Nicollet Ave. and Grant St.). Downtown bus fare is only 50 cents, but be sure to get off at Grant Street--if you travel further, you
must pay full fare. Grant Street is one block from the theater. Buses run less frequently on the weekends.

Parking

The Music Box Theatre is located one block south of the Hyatt Hotel and The Millennium Hotel. Each of these hotels has an attached parking ramp. There are also on-street parking meters nearby. There is limited free parking one block west of the theatre at the Emerson School at 14th and LaSalle.
