Triple Espresso
first came to San Diego in May of 1997, in association with Lamb's
Players Theatre of Coronado, with the original cast of Bill Arnold,
Michael Pearce Donley and Bob Stromberg performing.
It was in San Diego nearly
a year later, at the Hahn Cosmopolitan Theatre (now the Horton Grand
Theatre), that the producers took a leap of faith and for the first
time ever, trained a second cast and allowed them to perform the
show.
Dane Stauffer, Joe Gautier
and Scott Cervine were those first trailblazing actors, and crowds
loved them. Since that time, Triple Espresso has drawn
from a pool of local and regional talent who have become favorites
of local crowds.
Triple Espresso
became the longest running play in San Diego history in November
2002 and ended its historic run on February 17, 2008!
